Kingsbridge Institute of Learning is proud to welcome Daisy Christodoulou.  Assessment for learning has been around for 20 years, but has it had the impact we've hoped for? What makes for good formative assessment, and what is the balance between formative and summative types of assessment? What is responsive teaching, and how can it help improve formative assessment practices? What are the practical techniques teachers and senior leaders can use to ensure that their assessments are both accurate and useful?

Biography:

Daisy Christodoulou is an accomplished author, she is Director of Education at No More Marking, a provider of online comparative judgement assessments. She works closely with schools in the UK, Australia and USA on developing new approaches to assessing and teaching writing.

Before, she was Head of Assessment at Ark Schools, a network of academy schools. She has been part of UK government commissions on the future of teacher training and assessment.

Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the training date or non attendance will be subject to a 100% charge. Cancellations made 2 weeks prior to the training date will not be charged.
