Session Overview:
Following the Improving Secondary Science guidance report in 2018, its primary counter part has been long awaited. This session introduces the new Primary Science Guidance report and aims to help teachers to understand how to use the evidence to identify most effective ways to improve science teaching and outcomes in their schools.
In this session, we aim to support schools to engage with the recent publication to develop a robust knowledge of the evidence based to primary science. In addition, the session will explore some practical examples and strategies that teachers can use to make better-informed decisions about how to best support pupils' knowledge in science and avoid misconceptions in the subject.
